Itinerary

Our experienced instructors will teach you the fundamentals of surfing and ocean safety on land, before heading into the water to catch some waves with your group! Continually voted one of the best spots for beginner and intermediate surfers in San Diego, the calm waters of La Jolla Shores are an ideal place to learn how to surf in a fun, yet safe environment.

Throughout the lesson, your instructors will make sure youâ€™re safe and having fun. No experience necessary, all equipment provided.

INCLUSIONS

All participants get an Everyday California Rash Guard, and surfboard for 90 minute lesson. Guest may keep the equipment for an additional hour after lesson is over to continue surfing.

EXCLUSIONS

GST (Goods and Services Tax)
Wetsuits are not included in the lesson, but are available for rent for $10.00 plus $1.00 (10% City Tax) so total comes out to $11.00 per wetsuit per person for the entire day.

My daughter really enjoyed this surfing lesson on 1/26/2022 (her 1st ever surfing experience). We are thrilled that she was able to stand up and surf in later part of the class🤓. The staffs in the store (to get the wet suit) and the coach at the beach are all super nice and helpful. The parking at the store is easy to find if you drive a little further in the nearby streets. The teacher and student ratio was 1:4 for my daughter’s class and the coach was very responsible to take care of all the students. Highly recommended.

Our couch, Very slow, took us almost 25 minutes of lesson time just walking to the surfing location. The lesson time did not match the length that website described. Not professional at all!! Did not learn too many things at all. For the price we paid, not worthy at all. Terrible experience, pricy charge, sloppy teaching, disappointing 😣

With Covid lessons where out off a year so when we finally had an opportunity we took advantage of it. My 15 yr old son took a group lesson with Riley and it was perfect. Riley had a group of four and showed patience, knowledge and strong experience and gave everyone his time and attention. We enjoyed it so much we are scheduling another visit. Everyone there at the center is sweet, professional. There are lockers to store things and a place to change. Go you won’t be disappointed.

La Jolla beach parking was crazy. Be sure to read about parking on hills law in San Diego. We received a $60 ticket. The experience was good, be careful for sting rays. One instructor was stung and another surfer was stung not in the group. Lessons could end early if this happens. We were fortunate that it was at the end of ours so we just got to work on the solo skills a bit longer. We had a group of 4.

Learning how to surf at Everyday California was a blast! The instructors are informative, super fun, and keep it lighthearted even when you wipe out. Their shop is full of cool merch to take home to remember your experience or to bring home to family and friends. 10/10, will be back!

Great surfing lessons with a great spot to learn with a ton of waves to practice on. Garrett provided the quick tips to get standing on the board quickly. Glad I took the lesson

Holy moly! If you are looking for friendly, knowledgeable and expert customer service, run to Everyday California!!! Jackie is a sweetheart that "held my hand" during the booking process and Nat was an excellent and patient instructor to my nieces during their first surf lesson. Nat is an amazing instructor and his reaction to my nieces getting up on the boards was priceless :) I think he was more excited than the girls. Ha ha! Seriously, everyone that helped us prepare and through the process/lesson was extremely polite and super nice. I highly recommend Everyday California!!
