Dan was a great guide, humorous and knowledgeable. Many historic facts and religious history regarding the Catholics and Protestants, Irish and Italians were revealed. Tour of the catacombs was quite fascinating. This was an all around fun and interesting tour.

This tour is a must see for religious and/or history buffs, or anyone who just wants to go on a “not your typical tourist” tour. We were very fortunate to have Leo as our tour guide. He is the perfect mixture of historic knowledge, humor, and sarcasm. He was engaging and gave us so much history, that our heads were spinning, and gave me many names that I now want to read more about. The tour was easy physically. Walking and some stair climbing, but not too difficult. The tour overall was very enjoyable. Social distancing was not a large issue because we were either outside, or inside a large space and fairly easily able to distance if needed. The tour is a short walk to the Nolita district from the subway. It was easy to get there. A very enjoyable time overall.

Dan was the best tour guide I’ve had (and I’ve been on many). He was able to tell the history of everything while making it entertaining so you actually paid attention. I also loved learning about the history of the church and the people. 100% recommend.

It’s a must tour for all Catholics. I loved all the history of the church. Our tour guide was great! He made the talking part of the tour fun because he had a great sense of humor, he was attentive and knowledgeable.
