We visited the deck at sunset and the views were amazing. Be prepared for long queues both in/out! Would recommend going for sunset but would give your self extra time to get to the deck. Only 2 lifts!

It took forever to get up and we had to wait in line for paper tickets even though i bought these in advance.

We bought timed tickets ahead of time but still waited in very long lines to get into the building, up each set up elevators, at security, and also to leave. It felt like there were too many people allowed in for the times slots. Ours was at 4:15 and we didn’t actually get up until 4:45. Especially since we had kids with us, it was a bummer to wait so long. They got bored.

Great view. But tickets were expensive considering we were only there for a short while. Wouldn’t do it again.

We did this at night and the view was amazing. One of the highlights of our trip. The only thing that put a damper on it was that it was the same night as the tree lighting so the police wouldn't let us through, just kept sending us round in circles. Fortunately we finally found a police office who looked at our tickets and let us through after 2 hours of what should have been a ten minute walk. In the end the chaos was worth it!

Loved seeing the views, would be 5 stars if it wasn’t for one extremely rude worker at the door. The elevator was fast and made my ears pop, but the light show on the ceiling was a good distraction. Once we reached the top, I forgot all about the rude worker and was in awe of the views. A definite must see when in NYC!
