EJ was a great guide and very knowledgable. Saw some gators, pelicans, turtles and other birds along our way. A fun time for sure.

The only reason I gave it a 1 star is because it was too damn cold and of course there were no Gators. The tour guide who was talking you couldn't understand what he was saying, cause the speaker system was broken. Do not do this tour when it is cold outside. Save your money!

The swamp tour guide was not good- if was below average experience on a boat. He was awkward, you could not hear him and there was no Value to this experience except the bus driver. He was awesome.

While I’m sure at at certain times of the year this is a great experience, It was cold and miserable today. The wind was blowing at 50 plus in some areas and there was no cover. In case of such scenarios, some plexiglass would’ve been useful. The weather ultimately was too harsh. At one point, the wind and cold was so harsh, everyone had to duck behind their seats to get some protection. It was a poor choice on the captain’s part to go out.

The bus transportation was uncomfortable and noisy. The bus needs some serious mechanical attention. The cruise began on the intracoastal waterway, a large body of water that is open the elements. The day was very cool and windy, and I was uncomfortable most of the time. We did venture of the main body of water but there wasn't much to see. The experience would have been ok had it not been for the weather, but there's so many things to do and see in the New Orleans area, I think there are better choices for seniors than this.

Fun tour. Just the beauty of the swamp/bayou was wonderful. Also learning some history. Best part was getting to hold a baby alligator. Our tour guide was funny.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly! I enjoyed the tour. Unfortunately, we were only able to see one small alligator and because we were on a larger boat, it seemed like we weren’t able to explore some of the other pathways like the airboats. I would definitely book this tour again, but in the spring or summer in hopes that I will see more gators or animals.

My kids were disappointed. We thought we would see a lot of alligators/ crocodiles but we saw only 1 in the very beginning.. false advertisement

I had the honor of visiting the Barataria Preserve of Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, about 30 minutes south of New Orleans. I went on a tour with GrayLine's local Cajun guide who offered visitors the opportunity to learn about the swamp, its culture, and the ecosystem. This portion of the Bayou is part of 23,000 acres of wetlands, forests, bayous, swamps, and marshes. I learned a lot from the guide who was super entertaining and kind. would definitely recommend for any NOLA trip.
