Being on the bus forever for a short cheesy tour. We started late and stop after stop to pick up then drop of people. Not worth a dime never mind what we paid. Tour guide only spotted wildlife after we pointed it out. Seemed more interested in rushing the trip. Awful experience.
The actual Evergaldes experience was very cool and the boat tour was great! The organization of the trip, not so much. The most annoying part was that the bus had 8!!! posters to tip the driver with a minimum of $5, something that was reminded to the visitors numerous time during the tour. Yes, they even set a minimum amount! I've never been somewhere that they tried to guilt you into tipping so much and in such a bad way. Also, nobody explained what to expect from the tour or what is the schedule. You just enter a bus and hoping that it goes to Everglades, while you look at tipping posters anywhere you look and stopping in a mall when nobody ever mentioned that the tour does more stops.
I couldn't post pics because it says my files are to large but we had an excellent time. it was closer to 4 hours with the trip to and from including eating time after the boat. must try the gator tail bites, so good!!! the bus tour guide was awesome and the boat captain was great as well. This was a great way to spend the day and got back early enough to do other things as well.
If I could give it zero stars I would. This tour is touted as an Everglades tour when actuality you are going to the “Everglades Park”, not the National Everglades Park”. This is reported to be online ad an Everglades airboat tour. There are no exotic birds, exocticplants, or animals in “these Everglades” there are no alligator tours ,one alligator was observed per employee, “they come out at night. The primary issue with this tour is one is led to believe they are goi g to the Everglades National Park. The driver attempted to tell me the National park was not open when I realized the signage on the highway said we were headed to some sort of play area. It was as if he was aware of the subterfuge . I told him I k ew for a fact it was open , being a National Park enthusiast . I want to add the driver was rude and was being personally condescending . Upon return to office site I was offered a 50% refund which was inadequate and informed said person I was going to report this nonetheless regardless of refund or lack thereof. In addition, driver sped all the way. Do yourself a favor and use a reputable company .
I booked with the agent on phone. We had reservation for Millionaires cruise at 7:30. Agent did not tell me i had to be there an hour before departure instead when i asked he told me to get there 15-20 min early. Went to the departure point to find out that there were no cruise tour after 6 pm. So the reservation was not even valid. Not sure if i got scammed. Highly disappointed
Two thumbs up for the airboat ride, but Miami Tours was disorganized and unconcerned about the satisfaction level of the experience. We were quoted an hour for travel time, but that didn't include an additional hour for going around to other pickup points to "fill the bus". There was very little AC on the bus, so we took private transportation for the return trip. I do not recommend any MiamiTours excursions.
Does NOT go anywhere near a national park or anything like it. Does not include time for lunch. Does not go on an airboat “adventure”, or airboat never left site of the highway. You have 30 minutes (barely) on an airboat where they go to find the same alligator I assume they find everyday half a mile from the gift shop. Then you see a zoo of 15 reptiles and a few alligators with mold growing on their back. You to yo Sawgrass Rec Park which on its own and if honestly marketed would be fine but the description here is nothing like what will happen. By “half day tour” they mean drive an hour and a half to the destination, an hour and a half total there and an hour and a half back. The description on viator is not just misleading, it is blatantly dishonest. The positive reviews here must either be people that are part of the company or people that literally just wanted to get a picture on a boat and say they saw what might be a semi wild alligator.
