This is a must do when visiting ft. Lauderdale / Hollywood area. Easy to use , great views, fun facts. Very enjoyable and reasonably priced.

What an excellent way to see Fort Lauderdale from the water. Seeing the fancy homes, amazing yachts, and some of the local wildlife from the water was incredible.

we had a lot of fun on the taxi! we took the full trip up and down then started getting on and off at stops. the crews were hilarious and gave a ton of facts & information on the area. they show historial landmarks/homes and all the celebrities yachts. highly recommend!!

While the views were lovely and the mansions impressive, what wasn't welcomed was the misogynist commentary in the guise of jokes about women who shop, "cougars" looking for younger men, and men who need to drink while their wives shop. This is 2021-- not 1951. Also, I would prefer not to hear his political views of his hero DeSantis. Totally superfluous to the content of the journey and made us feel like outsiders since we do not share his politics.

After having lunch at Shooters Waterfront we wanted to take the Water Taxi to Las Olas. We were able to pay on the taxi. It's an all day ticket- I wish I didn't have to take a train back home I would have taken the next taxi to Hollywood! The narration was hilarious and very informative! The ride was like a guided tour of the mansions of the rich and famous! Definitely worth the money! They even serve beer and wine for a minimal fee... Definitely recommend! You can't come to Fort Lauderdale without riding a Water Taxi!

Avoid this service. The company sells more tickets than they have capacity. Today we started at stop 1 (some in our group could not get on because boat was full). We got off at stop 3. When we tried to leave stop 3, at least 10 boats came by that were to full to pick us up. We ended up taking an Uber to Shooters because the boat taxi was completely dysfunktionell. After a nice dinner at Shooters we found out it would be 1h47min before the next boat taxi arrived to take us back. Again, we ended up haven to take an Uber to get back to Las Olas. Stay away from this service. It's a scam.

We really enjoyed learning about the Ft Lauderdale area and seeing the house and yacht along the intercoastal. Overall the captains and the first mates were enjoyable . The boat was comfortable and the waits were not long at any stop. We would do it again. The only poor experience was getting off at the first stop when we did not leave a tip as we did not have any cash the boat captain said snarkly "Is it something we said?" WE had enjoyed the ride and had intentions to get cash for our return trip which we did but his condescending comment was unprofessional and intended to make the customers feel small. Fortunately I was able to walk away with a smile and doubled the tip for the captain and crew later in the day who were much more professional and les provocative in their stories especially with children onbord.
